Dort angekommen durften wir zuerst mal durch die Sicherheitskontrolle, welche etwa \u00e4hnlich streng war wie an einem Flughafen (Gep\u00e4ck durchleuchten, Metalldetektor). Nachdem der Sicherheitsmensch endlich \u00fcberzeugt war, dass mein zusammenklappbarer Autoschl\u00fcssel wirklich nichts gef\u00e4hrliches war, f\u00fchrte der Weg \u00fcber eine lange Br\u00fccke quer \u00fcber s\u00e4mtliche Bahngleise des Bahnhofs und schon waren wir im riesigen Ausstellungsgel\u00e4nde.<\/p>\n<p>Das ganze Gel\u00e4nde ist rund 1.5km lang und links und rechts sind die verschiedenen L\u00e4nderpavillons angeordnet, zum Teil auch noch mehrfach hintereinander. Ingesamt nehmen 154 L\u00e4nder teil, darunter auch die Schweiz, was unser erstes Ziel war. Doch leider gab es keine \u00d6pfelringli mehr, da die Besucher vor uns zu gierig waren.<\/p>\n<p>Und besuchten wir nach Lust und Laune weitere L\u00e4nderpavillons wie UAE, China, USA, Thailand, Katar, Russland, S\u00fcdkorea, Chile, Vietnam, \u00d6sterreich, Brasilien und Monaco. Im Oman gabs zwischendurch mal eine St\u00e4rkung. Da das grosse Oberthema Ern\u00e4hrung war, waren auch entsprechende Firmen pr\u00e4sent wie Traktorhersteller New Holland und der einheimische Bierbrauer Moretti. Sogar einen McDonalds hatte es innerhalb des Gel\u00e4ndes. Ausser vielleicht Turkmenistan, welche lieber ihre grossartige \u00d6l- und Gasindustrie pr\u00e4sentiert hat, gabs in allen Pavillons zum Teil sehr aufwendige und mit viel Multimedia und Hightech gestaltete Ausstellungen.<\/p>\n<p>Da die Expo bis 22.00 Uhr ge\u00f6ffnet hatte, konnten wir einige Pavillions und inbesondere den &#8222;Tree of Life&#8220; auch noch h\u00fcbsch beleuchtet bestaunen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mit dem vom Campingplatz organisierten Shuttlebus fuhren wir ganz bequem zum Expogel\u00e4nde.
